Hello, my name is Ricky, though my pasture pals call me Peekaboo Ricky, because I can’t help popping my head around corners and over fences just to see what’s going on. I’m a bright bay Thoroughbred gelding, standing 15.1 hands, born in New York on May 27, 2023. My dam is the beautiful Donya, and I am her very last foal.
Life started fast and full of love. Mom had already traveled some hard roads before I came along, but she raised me strong and curious. When I first stepped off the trailer at Mane Characters, everything felt brand new. Right away I met Forever Jenny, the boss lady who keeps the whole herd in line, along with Divella Bella and a wonderful crew of mares who decided I was their special project. Misty joined our group recently, and we welcomed her in no time, with Divella as the perfect welcome wagon. I have my own big pasture, endless hay, and the freedom to play and roll. The best part of all? My mom is just a pasture away. No more uncertainty, just green fields, sunshine, and a whole sanctuary family cheering for every happy day.
Every horse, a tale to tell. Every tale, a Mane Character. Mine is just getting started, full of sunshine and safety at last.
