What you can win
This one of a kind wind chime was made in Spirit Seeker’s memory. One side carries an engraved photograph of Spirit. The other side is engraved with SPIRIT SEEKER, Forever Remembered. The wind sail at the bottom, the piece that catches the Kentucky breeze, completes it, so that every time it sounds, it sounds for him.
Whoever’s name is drawn will carry a piece of Spirit’s story home with them.
Remembering Spirit Seeker
Spirit came to us on September 21, 2025, a bay Standardbred foaled in Quebec in 1999, off a trailer so rough the memory of it still has a name here. He stepped down with his head high, and that was the whole of him. He made it through a hard past and a brutal winter, and never lost his appetite for a good day: eating like a king, rolling in every kind of weather, soaking up the Kentucky sun, and flirting with Misty over the fence. He was the proudest, toughest horse we have known, and he gave a great many people hope, with fans who loved him around the world. We lost him on July 21, 2026, ten months to the day after he arrived. His spirit was never lost. It was only waiting to be sought.

One of our horses will help draw the winning name. All proceeds go directly to the care of our horses: feed, vet, farrier, dental, and whatever else they need. Thank you for caring for them with us.

Charitable Drawing Disclaimer and Rules
Entries close on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. The drawing for the Spirit Seeker memorial wind chime will take place on Sunday, September 6, 2026, and the winner will be announced that same day. Only entries made through the donation links on this page or via the free entry option are eligible. Each $15 donation grants ten (10) entries, each $25 donation grants twenty (20) entries, and each $50 donation grants fifty (50) entries. No purchase is necessary to enter; see the free entry option above. Limit one free entry per person. Participants must be 18 years or older to enter, per Kentucky law (KRS 238.545).
The winner will be randomly selected with the assistance of one of our horses and announced on our website and social media platforms. We reserve the right to identify the winner by their first name and last initial, their social media handle, or both, at the winner’s discretion. If the winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) days of the drawing, a new winner will be drawn.
