Adopt a Horse or Donkey
We do not have horses or donkeys available for adoption right now, by choice: we will not place a horse until we can prepare them properly. Adoption is part of what we do, and when an animal is ready and suited to the right home, it is by application, with a contract that brings them back to us if your circumstances ever change.
How adoption works
How it works
When adoption is open: apply, then meet and match with the right animal, and complete an adoption contract. We help you find a good fit.
Who can adopt
Vetted, equine-experienced homes that can provide proper care, space, and a lifelong commitment.
Our promise
If you ever cannot keep them, they come back to us, or we vet and approve any new home. They are never at risk.
Frequently asked
Is every horse available to adopt?
Not all. Some live out their retirement with us; those suited to a new home are placed with vetted adopters when the time is right.
What is the return policy?
Every adoption includes a contract: if you can no longer keep the horse, they return to us or we approve any new home.
How do I start?
Adoption is not open right now, and we have none available. If you would like us to reach out when that changes, share your details below. There is no waitlist.
Adoption Application
Tell us about you and your home. Nothing is available to adopt at the moment; this simply lets us contact you if that changes and you are a good match.
